Lucknow: In a dominant display of tennis, Ayansh Pathak secured a convincing 6-2, 6-3 victory over Praveer Vaibhav Tilak to advance to the finals of the Under 10 Boys category at the Late Chandra Prakash Memorial State Ranking Tournament.
From the start, Ayansh was in control of the match, using his powerful groundstrokes and precise placement to push Praveer off the baseline. Despite Praveer’s strong efforts, including some well-executed forehands, Ayansh’s consistent serve and solid rallying were too much to overcome.
In the first set, Ayansh raced to a 6-2 win, breaking Praveer’s serve twice with impressive returns and solid positioning. In the second set, Praveer tried to mount a comeback, but Ayansh remained calm under pressure, closing out the match 6-3 to seal his spot in the final.
Ayansh’s tactical approach, coupled with his aggressive play, saw him consistently dictating the points. Praveer showed resilience throughout the match, but Ayansh’s all-around performance proved superior on the day.
Ayansh will now look ahead to the final, where he will aim to continue his excellent form.
